Jamaica Hospital Medical Center a member of the Medisys Health Network is a 424 bed fully accredited community based teaching hospital and level I Trauma and Stroke Center. We provide general medical, pediatric, and psychiatric emergency services, ambulatory care on and off campus, ambulatory surgery and a broad spectrum of diagnostic and treatment services. We are proud of our uncompromising commitment and approach in providing the highest levels of professional, compassionate care to the many culturally diverse, undeserved patients and residents in Queens. We are currently seeking an experienced Patient Care Associate ( certified nursing assistant or Patient Care Assistant)  for a full time  opportunity in our Intermediate Care Unit.

Requirements
  • Must have Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate or Certified Patient Care Assistant certification 
  • Experience performing Phlebotomy and 12-Lead EKG testing. 
  • Prior experience working as a Patient Care Associate or Patient Care Assistant in Health care setting preferred.
  • BLS certificate from American Heart Association.
  • High School Diploma or GED certificate. 
  • Basic computer skills
