VASCULAR SURGERY

The Department of Vascular Surgery at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center provides innovative and comprehensive surgical care to treat patients with a wide range of rare and complex conditions. Our team of highly trained and experienced Vascular surgeons use the latest minimally invasive technology and surgical interventions to treat conditions.

We are currently seeking Full-time Nurse Practitioners with prior Vascular Surgery experience to join our team. Our ideal candidates will be flexible, willing, and able to work M-F 8 am – 4:30 pm (No Nights/No Weekends).

DUTIES:

As a Nurse Practitioner in our Vascular Department, you will have the opportunity to manage all aspects of care, including medicine, pre-op, post-op, and discharge responsibilities. Additional responsibilities will include:

Requirements
  • MSN required.
  • Graduate of an accredited (Accreditation Review Committee for Nurse Practitioner Programs (ARC-PA) program, required.
  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner by the New York State Department of Education required.
  • Certification as VA-BC, TNCC, CRNI or ANCC FNP preferred. 
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification, required.

SALARY:  Base Salary $143,273 Plus Differentials, PTO & Full 1199 Benefits
