HEALTH CARE RECRUITER

Jamaica Hospital Medical Center a member of the Medisys Health Network is an accredited Community Based teaching hospital and Level I Trauma and Stroke Center. Regarded as a leading hospital in Queens, New York, we offer a wide variety of patient-centered, expert care to a large and diverse community. We are currently seeking an F/T Onsite Healthcare Recruiter for our Talent Acquisition Department.

Our ideal candidate will be a creative, sales savvy, team-oriented Recruiter with solid recruiting experience preferably in a Health care environment.  Along with a combination of BOTH agency AND corporate recruiting experience.

SPECIFIC DUTIES

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for multiple, complex searches, creating innovative sourcing strategies and engagement to bring the best talent to each role.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing plans, analyzing requirements to create profile, and leveraging multiple tactics to build talented, diverse pool.
  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers throughout the recruiting process to ensure hiring needs and goals are met.
  • Manage pipeline activity and maintain data integrity, and proactively share data-centric updates with internal stakeholders.
  • Drive offer process – including extending offers, negotiations, closing candidates.
  • Build strong, credible relationships with senior leaders and critical stakeholders, operating as a trusted advisor and business partner. 
  • Lead and assist with various Talent Acquisition-related special projects on an ongoing or ad hoc basis.
Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 2 years sourcing and building talent pipelines.
  • Experience using multiple recruiting platforms such as LinkedIn, Glassdoor, and Indeed.
  • Experience sourcing, engaging, and activating passive candidates with social media. tools.
  • Agency sourcing /recruitment experience desired.
  • Experience creating and fostering partnerships with hiring managers.

PREFERRED SKILLS FOR THE ROLE

  • General knowledge of HR principles, employment, and immigration laws.

SALARY: $70,00K - $85,000K  DOE
