ELECTRICIAN B – (APPRENTICE LEVEL)
DEPARTMENT: PLANT OPERATIONS SALARY: $23.89 hr. – $25.00 /hr.
Jamaica Hospital Medical Center a member of the Medisys Health Network is a 404 bed fully accredited community based teaching hospital and level I Trauma and Stroke Center . We provide general medical, pediatric, and psychiatric emergency services, ambulatory care on and off campus, ambulatory surgery and a broad spectrum of diagnostic and treatment services. We are currently seeking experienced Electrician B – (Apprentice Level) candidates for immediate full time, day shift positions in our Plant Operations Department.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the direction of our Lead Electrician selected candidate will assist with and complete maintenance work orders on electrical equipment. Testing malfunctioning equipment, identifying defects, troubleshooting, repairing equipment and replacing defective parts. Collaborating with Electrician and other electrical staff to identify and solve problems.
