DRIVER – PER DIEM 

MOTOR TRANSPORT 

The Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of patients, staff, equipment, labs, and mail. This is to take place between the MediSys Health System. Transports patients/passengers in a safe manor following department seat belt restraint compliance.
Maintains proper Communication with dispatchers, Hospital and clinic staff, and patients. Completes checkout sheets and transport logs.
Completes mileage sheets prior to and at the end of each tour.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma required.
  • New York State clean valid Driver’s License.
  • Must be 21 years of age. Must be willing to work other shifts.
  • Experience working in a health care environment an asset.
  • Good verbal and written communications skills required.
  • Good organizational and time management skills required.
  • Ability to produce high quality work in accordance with hospital standards required.
  • Ability to work well under pressure required.
  • Ability to use good judgment in assessing difficult situations required.
  • Knowledge of general office practices, procedures and standards required.
