Responsibilities of a Diet Assistant include: patient visitation for preferences and menu selection, menu modification, observe and document calorie counts and check trayline. The Dietitian Assistant position communicates with the clinical dietitians regarding patients.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Associates Degree in Nutrition (or working towards)

Or

Graduate of The Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics approved dietetic technician school

Or

High School graduate with 120 hour dietary managers course (or equivalent) and experience in diet office operations
