DENTAL ASSISTANT

SALARY:    $21.66/hr. – $22.87/hr.        

The MediSys East New York Department of Dental Medicine provides high-quality dental services for pediatric and adult patients.  Our state-of-the-art dental center features a 6-chair dental clinic and is staffed by a team consisting of two dentists, one hygienist, and support staff.   We are currently seeking an experienced Dental Assistant for an immediate full-time opportunity at our East New Clinic located at 30-80 Atlantic Avenue, Brooklyn, NY  11208.

SPECIFIC DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

Working closely and under the supervision of the dentist, the Lead Assistant and office Manager selected candidate will be responsible for the following.

• Greeting, seating, and draping patients.
• Assisting dentist during dental procedures.
• Setting up instrument trays, preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures.
• Using Scanix system to take patient x-rays.
• Arranging and setting up patient treatment rooms.
• Ordering dental supplies and maintaining dental equipment inventory.
