The Administrative Assistant will assist the Director of Professional Development & Organizational Learning (PD/OL) with organizing and maintaining files. The Administrative Assistant will also: Demonstrate knowledge of proper English grammar, punctuation, and composition of minutes, and reports. Knowledge of Medical Terminology preferred. Perform filing and record-keeping to allow for easy retrieval of information in a timely manner. Schedule meetings and appointments in advance, reserve adequate time and space, based on nature of content and ensuring efficient use of time as requested. Be attentive to detail in record-keeping and other paperwork inherent to the position. Proof letters, memos and messages for accuracy for distribution. Must have the ability to handle all staff and situations tactfully, confidentially, professionally, and with courtesy.

Requirements
  • Required Education Associates Degree preferred Required Skills and /or Experience Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish a rapport with all levels of an organization.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to convey information in a manner that is easy to understand.
  • Strong organizational skills and a thorough knowledge of computers (Microsoft Office and Windows), especially proficiency with Microsoft Excel Three or more year’s secretarial and related field experience preferred.
