MEDICAL ASSISTANT

Full-Time Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm             Salary $25/hr. – $27/hr.

TJH Medical Services, PC a multi-specialty Physician Practice with 30 locations offers a full range of medical, diagnostic, and surgical services. From annual eye examinations to surgical procedures, our Board Certified, fellowship-trained Physicians, and support staff are dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of conditions and disorders.

We are currently seeking experienced Medical Assistants for immediate full-time career opportunities within our high-volume physician practices located in Flushing Queens. Practice areas include Internal Medicine, Cardiology & GYN. Under physician supervision, our Medical Assistants provide support to all Medical/Laboratory procedures. Additional responsibilities include:

Medical Assistant Responsibilities:

• Triaging patients and preparing patient charts.
• Performing venipuncture, EKGs, and taking vital signs.
• Preparing treatment rooms for examinations, including cleaning and sterilizing instruments.
• Maintaining medical inventory.
• Working directly with healthcare practice staff to collect test samples, maintain patient records, explain common medical procedures to patients, and assist in basic examinations.
• Following up with insurance companies for authorizations and referrals.
• Documenting clinical notes appropriately, accurately, and timely in our EPIC systems.
