DEPARTMENT: GENERAL ACCOUNTING     

HOURS: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

We are currently seeking an  Accountant for an immediate full-time opportunity in our General Accounting Department

 RESPONSIBILITIES:  Responsible for daily reconciliation of cash accounts and various monthly account reconciliations. Other duties will include: 

  • Preparing monthly bank reconciliations for Hospital bank accounts. 
  • Preparing daily cash analysis and EFT reports. 
  • Preparing daily cash flow information. 
  • Collecting and analyzing account information to reconcile financial discrepancies.  
  • Processing payroll tax deposits and wires. 
  • Collecting, analyzing,  and summarizing account information to prepare financial reports.  
  • Providing account analysis regarding general ledger accounts. 
  • Preparing and maintaining monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and various other accounting statements and reports. 
  • Providing assistance to Senior Accountants as needed. 
  • Completing special projects as necessary. 
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is required. 
  • Minimum 1-3 years relevant experience preferred, however exceptional new grads may be considered.
  • Must have knowledge of finance or Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). 
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products/applications with strong experience using Excel. 
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, able to provide timely and concise reports and communications, and interact with multiple groups and clients at different organizational levels
