CERTIFIED REGISTERED CENTRAL STERILE TECHNICIAN

Jamaica Hospital Medical Center located in Queens, NY seeks experienced Certified Registered Central Sterile Technicians for immediate part-time (22.5 hours/ week) night shift employment opportunities in our Central Sterile Supply department. Our ideal candidate will have minimum 1-2 years’ previous hands on experience in medical equipment sterilization and sterile processing.  Nearly certified technicians strongly encouraged to apply.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

• Sterilizing, cleaning, processing and assembling, surgical instruments and equipment.
• Inspecting tools and equipment for damages.
• Processing, packaging, and storing, sterilized tools.
• Maintaining and distributing sterilized tools and equipment.
