HVAC Mechanic A

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Selected candidate will install, maintain, and repair water-based heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and commercial refrigeration systems. Monitoring, maintaining and adjusting HVAC equipment settings for better performance. Analyzing and studying blueprints and other specifications to (assist / install) HVAC unit OTHER

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Examining pipes, tubing joints and connections to detect leaks
• Testing electrical circuits and components for continuity.
• Repairing and replacing defective equipment Installing, connecting, and adjusting thermostats, humidistats, and timers. Connecting HVAC equipment to fuel, water, or refrigerant sources Adjusting system controls to balance system
• Assembling, positioning, and mounting HVAC equipment Soldering, welding and braising metal pipes and connectors. Recording report time, materials, faults, deficiencies, and other occurrences on work orders
