Registered Nurse – CDU

Flushing Hospital Medical Center is a 293-bed, not-for-profit teaching hospital. The hospital offers a variety of services for a culturally diverse community, including Bariatric Surgical Service, Ambulatory Care Center, Women’s Health Center, Wound Care Center, and Chemical Dependence Unit. Our busy on-site full-service pharmacy provides prescription services to discharged, emergency department, and clinic patients as well as employees. We’re looking for Registered Nurses with a current New York State license. Our ideal will have than be quick-thinking, with strong assessment skills, and the ability to work quickly and effectively under pressure.

As a CDU RN, you will provide care and treatment to ill, injured, and recovering adult patients.

Assessing patient conditions.
Administering medications.
Monitoring patient vital signs.
Charting and keeping records.
Providing patients with support and education
