AIDE, (GENERAL)

JOB SUMMARY

Reports directly to the Rehab Coordinator, Occupational Therapy Supervisor and Rehab Staff; Performs designated routine tasks related to the operation of the Rehabilitation Department, but may also assist with resident related activities pre-determined for each resident and assigned by a PT/OTR-L.

DUTIES:

Transport residents to/from therapy.  Frequently pushes pulls and supports residents.
Assist therapists as needed with resident therapy.
Transport records, equipment and supplies as needed.
Prepares, maintains and cleans-up treatment area/machines as needed.
Performs pre-determined, general office procedures as needed:
Prepares new admission packets and distributes to designated members of Rehab Department (PT, OT and ST)
Documentation of daily attendance of residents.
