SCHEDULE:           MONDAY – FRIDAY    9 AM – 5:30 PM

The Department of Dental Medicine at Jamaica Hospital provides high-quality dental services for children, adolescents, adults, and special needs patients.  Our state-of-the-art dental center is staffed by a professional team consisting of attendings, hygienists, residents, and support staff. Our clinic is a full service practice offering patients operative, perio, endo, and prostho services.  We are proud of our uncompromising commitment and approach to providing the highest professional, compassionate dental care to the many culturally diverse, undeserved patients we serve. We are currently seeking experienced Dental Assistants for immediate full-time opportunities in our Ozone Park & Richmond Hill Clinics.

SPECIFIC DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Working closely and under the dentist’s supervision, Lead Assistant, and Office Manager.
• Greeting, seating, and draping patients.
• Assisting dentist during dental procedures.
• Sterilizing instruments.
• Setting up instrument trays, preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures.
• Taking x-rays and arranging and setting up patient treatment rooms.
• Ordering dental supplies and maintaining dental equipment inventory.
