As a MIDWIFE, you will be responsible for:

  • · Primary care for expecting mothers and women.
  • · Diagnosing and treating patients
  • · Providing referrals to appropriate medical specialists
  • · STI testing and treatment along with EPT
  • · Contraception management
  • · Education and preparation for new parents
  • · Handling labor and delivery management along with L&D team
  • · Care for newborns during the first 28 days of life
  • · Assisting during cesarean sections (optional)
  • · Emotional support for expecting mothers.
  • · Prenatal, Postnatal, Well Woman Gynecology examinations
  • · Dealing with complications that may arise during labor and delivery.
  •   Prescribing medicine to patients
Requirements
  • You must hold at least a Master’s degree.
  •  Have successfully passed the American Midwifery Certification Board licensing exam.
  • ·Current NY State Midwifery Registration, DEA, BLS, NRP
  • ·Display compassion, empathy, and genuine concern for the patient and her newborn.
  • ·Be technologically advanced in the latest medical software.
  • ·Open to working as part of a team

SALARY: $ 110,680.77 Plus Longevity differential, PTO & Full 1199 Benefits
