Position Summary
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our skilled nursing team. With opportunities available across full-time, part-time, and per diem shifts, CNAs play an essential role in ensuring our residents receive the care, dignity, and respect they deserve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
  • Encourage and support residents in regaining independence through ambulation and exercises.
  • Provide skin care and administer treatments as directed by licensed nursing staff.
  • Accurately document care and follow nursing instructions in the electronic health record.
  • Maintain resident safety, comfort, and confidentiality at all times.
  • Assist with resident admissions, discharges, and transportation.
  • Safely operate, maintain, and clean resident care equipment.
  • Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and mandatory educational programs.
  • Uphold infection control, safety, and compliance standards.
  • Foster positive communication and respectful interactions with residents, families, and colleagues.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Completion of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program
  • Current listing on the New York State Nurse Aide Registry
  • Minimum 1 year of CNA experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred

  • Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure or emergency situations
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Physically, mentally, and emotionally capable of performing CNA responsibilities
  • Willingness to learn and operate resident care equipment

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Frequent lifting, moving, and positioning of residents and equipment
  • Regular standing, walking, bending, stooping, and squatting
  • Exposure to various resident care elements and clinical conditions
