As a surgical technician you will assist surgeon and the medical team in the operating room.

Ensuring, organizing and preparing instruments for surgical procedures
Preparing surgical room with necessary equipment and tools
Sterilizing and cleaning medical equipment.
Testing medical equipment and replacing as needed
Preparing patients for surgery and disinfecting surgical site.
Handing instruments to surgeon during procedures

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Graduate of an ORT training program or on the job training with a minimum of 3 years’ experience
Experience in scrubbing minor and major procedures in the generalized surgical specialties,
Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
