Flushing Hospital Medical Center (FHMC) has a career opportunity for a Performance Improvement (PI) Coordinator.
The Performance Improvement Coordinator works with and under the direction of the Director of Performance Improvement to develop, plan, organize, direct, and lead the FHMC Performance Improvement Program.
The Coordinator will have a detailed understanding of the concepts of performance improvement system design, outcomes measurement, and statistical analysis.
The PI Coordinator is responsible for conformance to regulatory requirements, contractual obligations, Hospital policies and the organization’s P.I. program.
The PI Coordinator will support ongoing performance improvement related to appropriate and safe care, patient, family and team experience, and efficiency.
The coordinator must have strong project management skills and be able to develop reports and manage data.

Requirements
Required Education/Skills: Bachelor Degree in health-related field, Master degree preferred. Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred. For licensed personnel, current NYS license is required Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs, such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access. Strong knowledge in the application of Performance Improvement methodologies. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
