Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree with RD (Registered Dietitian)/CDN (Certified Dietitian Nutritionist) credentials, or
- Master’s degree in nutrition/public health from a regionally accredited or NY State-registered institution.
- Coursework must include basic/general nutrition, life cycle/human nutrition, community nutrition, maternal and pediatric nutrition, and nutrition assessment.
Experience: - Three or more years of WIC experience (preferably supervisory) at a Local Agency.
- At least two years of experience in a federally funded or community nutrition food program, with one year of supervisory experience.
- Skills:
- Strong multitasking and independent working abilities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications.
Flexibility: Must be available to work a flexible schedule.
Preferred: Bilingual in Spanish or Bengali.
