Full Time Neuro Surgeon
Jamaica Hospital in the heart of New York City is seeking a board eligible/certified neurosurgeon to join the division of neurosurgery.
Jamaica Hospital Medical Center’s team of neurosurgeons in Queens New York offer innovative and comprehensive surgical care to treat a wide range of rare and complex conditions of the brain, spine and peripheral nervous system to our patients.
Our team of highly trained and experienced neurosurgeons in Queens, New York supported by an experienced group of physician assistants, is focused on delivering advanced, patient-centered, care to our community with the goal of improving the quality of life of the patients we serve.
Jamaica Hospital’s neurosurgeons perform a wide range of surgical interventions, using the latest, minimally invasive technology to treat conditions affecting the brain, spine and peripheral nervous system.
- Neuro-specific OR room
- Stryker neuro-navigation including Ziehm C-arm and AIRO intraoperative CT scanner
- Haag-Streit microscope
- 8 midlevel physician extenders with PAs and NPs to assist in clinic, OR, and inpatient care.
- Patient need will be able to be busy quickly, with 150-200 cases in initial year.
- Collaboration with Northwell Health and Lenox Hill Hospital, with faculty appointment and access to research and education.
