LAUNDRY AIDE             

Jamaica Hospital Medical Center is a member of the Medisys Health The network is a 404-bed fully accredited community-based teaching hospital and Level I Trauma and Stroke Center.  We provide general medical, pediatric, and psychiatric emergency services, ambulatory care on and off-campus, ambulatory surgery, and a broad spectrum of diagnostic and treatment services. We are currently seeking  Laundry Aides for immediate f/t and p/t day shift assignments.    

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Washing, drying and folding laundry 
• Mopping laundry room floor 
• Ensuring proper separation of laundry items. 
• Disinfecting and sterilizing equipment and supplies. 
• Stocking laundry and cleaning cart with supplies. 
• Emptying wastebaskets, and transporting trash and waste to the disposal area.
