Jamaica Hospital Medical Center’s Department of Ambulatory Care is expanding and currently seeking experienced, compassionate Patient Access Representatives to join our East New York Diagnostic & Treatment Center (DTC) team.

As a vital member of our front-line staff, you will help ensure that every patient receives timely, professional, and courteous service in a fast-paced outpatient environment that serves a diverse and vibrant community.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Verify insurance coverage, obtain necessary authorizations, and collect copayments.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow in coordination with clinical staff.
• Support physicians and nurses by preparing patient charts and ensuring accurate documentation.
• Perform EKG and phlebotomy as required.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality while delivering outstanding customer service
