Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, a Diagnostic Imaging Center of Excellence designated by the American College of Radiology (ACR), is seeking MRI Technologists to join our renowned Radiology Department. As part of a team dedicated to patient-centered care, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality imaging services using state-of-the-art Siemens equipment.

Job Description:
• Perform MRI procedures for body, neuro, and musculoskeletal scans, ensuring high image quality.
• Verify patient identity, history, and exam requisition following hospital protocol.
• Greet and triage patients, ensuring their safety throughout the process.
• Explain the procedure to patients and answer any questions during the scan.
• Input patient history and review relevant medical documentation.
• Administer contrast media or medications as required, following established procedures.
• Screen patients prior to procedure, ensuring safety and no metal objects are brought into the MRI room.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment and assist in training new hires.
• Position patients on the exam table and enter relevant anatomical information.
• Identify and address equipment malfunctions as needed.
