Flushing Hospital Medical Center is a 293-bed, not-for-profit teaching hospital. The hospital offers a variety of services for a culturally diverse community, including Bariatric Surgical Service, Ambulatory Care Center, Women’s Health Center, Wound Care Center, and Chemical Dependence Unit. Our busy on-site full-service pharmacy provides prescription services to discharged, emergency department, and clinic patients as well as employees. The Psychiatry and Addiction Services consists of four (4) divisions, which includes an OASAS certified Reflections Outpatient Chemical Dependence Clinic and a 30-bed medically managed detoxification unit; and an OMH certified outpatient Mental Health Clinic and an inpatient psychiatry unit that is undergoing construction to become a 30-bed involuntary psychiatry unit. The Reflections Clinic is also undergoing construction to expand its services and a new CPEP is also being developed. We’re looking for a Project Director for our Structural Racism Grant. The ideal candidate must be quick-thinking, with strong assessment skills, and the ability to work quickly and effectively under pressure. One of the project’s primary objectives is to improve access to behavioral health care for underserved populations surrounding Flushing Hospital.

Responsibilities:

Providing administrative and clinical leadership for our Structural Racism Grant including overseeing admissions, discharges, HHS-OMH regulatory compliance, and clinical supervision of staff. The position also requires data gathering, organizing, mining, and determining predictors of targeted goals; and reporting these findings to HHS-OMH

Requirements
Licensed clinical psychologist, LCSW, MPH, or MHA. Experience as a manager or other leadership role in a grant project is preferred.
