COOK’S HELPER

Flushing Hospital Medical Center is a 293-bed, not-for-profit teaching hospital. The hospital offers a variety of services for a culturally diverse community, including Bariatric Surgical Service, Ambulatory Care Center, Women’s Health Center, Wound Care Center, and Chemical Dependence Unit. Our busy on-site full-service pharmacy provides prescription services to discharged, emergency department, and clinic patients as well as employees.

We are currently seeking a Cook’s Helper for immediate opportunities.

Duties:

Prepare, cook and distribute food items for the cafeteria patients and special functions using proper techniques to ensure high quality food.
Will perform all duties in a manner consistent with the Flushing Hospital commitment to providing superior patient care and promoting good guest relations. Short order cook.
