Jamaica Hospital Medical Center a member of the Medisys Health Network is a fully accredited community-based teaching hospital and level I Trauma and Stroke Center. Our busy ER operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week and treats over 117,000 patients annually. We are staffed with an expert team of Board-certified Emergency Medicine physicians, physician assistants, nurses, nurse assistants along with a robust support staff including respiratory therapists, social workers, case managers whom are all dedicated towards one goal: providing the highest level of professional, compassionate care to the many culturally diverse and underserved patients and residents in Queens, New York. We are currently seeking Emergency Medical Technicians for Per Diem opportunities.
