DENTAL ASSISTANT

Flushing Hospital Medical Center located in Queens, NY seeks experienced Dental Assistant for immediate full-time employment opportunity in our Department of Dental Medicine. SPECIFIC DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Working closely and under the supervision of the dentist, Lead Assistant and office Manager.
• Greeting, seating and draping patients.
• Assisting dentist during dental procedures.
• Setting up instrument trays, preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures.
• Taking x-rays and arranging and setting up patient treatment rooms.
• Ordering dental supplies and maintaining dental equipment inventory.
