Jamaica Hospital Medical Center currently seeks a Licensed Clinical Psychologist for an immediate full-time opportunity in our outpatient mental health clinic. The outpatient mental health clinic at Jamaica Hospital serves individuals aged 5 and above with varying mental health needs. We provide high-quality treatment to a diverse and underserved population.

This psychologist will be primarily responsible for conducting intake assessments and providing individual psychotherapy. This individual will also have plenty of opportunities to be involved in the supervision and teaching of clinical psychology interns and psychiatry residents.

Schedule: Flexible Schedule

  • Option to work Monday – Saturday between 8am – 9 pm for a total of 37.5 hours/ week
Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Doctoral Degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D)
  • Current license and registration as a Psychologist in New York State, eligible for license within two (2) of hire, but must have limited permit

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working in a community mental health center or hospital-based outpatient clinic
  • Experience working with diverse patient population
