Salary: $110,000 – $120,000 per year

Jamaica Hospital Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clinical Risk Manager to join our Risk Management Department. This pivotal role ensures patient safety, regulatory compliance, and quality care across our 402-bed Level I Trauma and Stroke Center. The ideal candidate will proactively identify, assess, and mitigate clinical risks while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments, incident reviews, investigations, and root cause analyses to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement risk reduction strategies to enhance patient and employee safety.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting to regulatory agencies.
• Collaborate with medical staff, legal counsel, and administrative teams to promote policy adherence and risk awareness.
• Facilitate education and training programs to reinforce a just and safety-focused culture.
• Review and analyze medical records to generate accurate, detailed event summaries.
• Assist in policy and system development to improve risk management outcomes and patient safety initiatives.
