CARE ADVOCATE

Jamaica Hospital has a career opportunity for a Person-Centered Service Care Advocate. The Person- Centered Service Care Advocate works under the direction of the Network Director of Person-Centered Services Department to implement proactive service recovery program methods that enhance the patient’s experience within the Medisys Health Network.

His/her scope of responsibility includes working with the patient and families to address concerns, complaints, and if need be, escalate issues accordingly to appropriate personnel. The PCS Care Advocate works collaboratively to develop, implement, and participate In Person-Centered Care activities. PCS Care Advocate is responsible and accountable for promoting the culture of Person-Centered Care Concepts and practices within the organization.
