ASSISTANT HEAD NURSE – RADIOLOGY

Jamaica Hospital Medical Center’s Radiology Department offers a wide variety of state-of-the-art diagnostic and specialty services including ultrasound, mammography, MRI, diagnostic radiology, fluoroscopic procedures, and much more. Our radiology department is recognized as a premier provider of clinical imaging. Our goal is to offer the best diagnostic medical imaging for a variety of health conditions. We offer image-guided medical treatment options that support our patient’s long-term function and well-being. We are currently seeking to identify and recruit an Assistant Head Nurse with previous Radiology experience.

DUTIES

• As Assistant Head Nurse you will provide operational and administrative support to the unit Nurse Manager.
• Training staff.
• Assigning unit nursing tasks.
• Coordinating and making shift assignments.
• Support for the unit staff performance.
• Providing hands-on technical assistance, leadership, and support for department nursing staff.
• Assist with the Unit performance improvement.
