Assistant Director of Professional Development & Organizational Learning

We are currently seeking an Assistant Director of Professional Development and Organizational Learning for our Professional Development Department.
Selected candidate will develop, plan, organize, and implement the departmental mission and goals in providing multi-disciplinary educational support to the organization.
Position Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
Coordinating educational programs based on learning needs assessment, stakeholder input, data trends and organization goals.
Collaborating with organizational leadership in the planning, implementation, and delivery of educational curricula that supports the development of leaders and teams.
Providing consultation and educates departmental team members on current, innovative and evidence-based teaching methodologies and organizational learning strategies.
Promoting a just and safety culture, applying a continuous learning approach to through education, policy, and system development.
Providing oversight of initial, annual and ongoing competency programs for the nursing department.
Overseeing educational programs to ensure compliance with required standards e.g. Emergency Cardiac Care (ECC), Academic Affiliations, Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) etc.
Serving as a resource to promote individual professional development
