Responsible for the need of identification, purchase, inventory, and maintenance of all clothing items for the client population.
To assist in developing individualized service plans along with the Coordinator, helping the resident achieve valued outcomes.
To supervise and review the appropriate documentation of goals, data sheets, medication administration, recreational activities, incidents, assignments sheets, and all other pertinent info.
Participation is required at all ISP meetings and OMRDD surveys.
When necessary shall perform direct care duties, including ADL and AMAP duties.
To provide active, supportive supervision, and effective training to all staff to maximize their job performance, job satisfaction and personal growth.
Completing Staff performance evaluations.
To ensure that the agency standards of maintenance and cleanliness are met at all times.
To ensure that the appropriate standards of personal hygiene, physical appearance, and appropriate clothing for all individuals are met.
To create and maintain an in-house atmosphere which will maximize individual receptiveness to, and participation in, agency programmatic services.
To supervise food inventory, storage, and preparation so as to ensure compliance with dietary recommendations and regulations in consultation with the physician and dietician.
To schedule and conduct all necessary staff meetings, to ensure attendance of appropriate staff at all such meetings.
To participate in the process of staff selection/termination according to agency policy.
To serve as a liaison between the residential staff and the program director.
To be well versed in all emergency and crisis procedures
To identify in-service training needs and to then coordinate the delivery of the meaningful training sessions for staff.
To engender a spirit of cooperation and cohesion within the residence.
Performs other and/ or unrelated duties assigned, in times of emergencies, or when necessary.
Requirements
Qualifications:
H.S. Diploma Required/B.A. Degree in Human Services or 5 years in management DD Services
