Our Radiology Department is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, and our team plays a critical role in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MRI Technologist to join our team and help provide high-quality imaging services in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Position Overview
As an MRI Technologist, you will perform high-quality magnetic resonance imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accuracy. You will work closely with radiologists and clinical staff to support timely and precise diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
  • Screen patients for MRI safety, including implants and contraindications
  • Position patients to obtain optimal diagnostic images
  • Monitor patients throughout procedures to ensure safety and comfort
  • Administer contrast agents as required and observe for adverse reactions
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
  • Operate and maintain MRI equipment, ensuring proper functionality
  • Follow all safety, regulatory, and infection control standards
  • Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams

Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program
  • ARRT (MRI) certification required or eligible
  • New York State licensure required
  • Prior MRI experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of MRI safety standards and imaging protocols
  • Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and patient care abilities
