Jamaica Hospital Medical Center is a 402-bed fully accredited community teaching hospital and Level I Trauma Center located in Queens, New York City. It is a member of the MediSys Health Network, a large not-for-profit healthcare system in Queens. The hospital is designated as a Primary Stroke Center and a recognized American College of Radiology (ACR) Diagnostic Imaging Center of Excellence. We are currently seeking a full-time, board-certified/eligible Interventional Radiologist to join our growing and dynamic Radiology team.

About the Opportunity:

Our Interventional Radiology division is undergoing significant growth driven by two major initiatives:

A brand-new Emergency Department expansion to enhance acute care services
A cutting-edge Cancer Center and expanding oncology program to elevate cancer care in Queens
Join a Collegial and Expert Team:

Work alongside 19 board-certified, fellowship-trained Radiologists and Radiologist Assistants
Serve a richly diverse community across two campuses: Jamaica Hospital Medical Center and Flushing Hospital Medical Center (293-bed full-service community hospital)

Requirements
  • Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology M.D. or D.O. degree.
  • ABR board-certified or board-eligible in IR/DR Passion for Interventional Radiology and a desire to contribute to expanding service lines.
  • Experience in Interventional Oncology and Level I trauma interventions is preferred

Schedule & Compensation:

  • CME allowance,
  • 403B retirement plan, and coverage for professional licensure
  • 1 in 4 call weeks
  • Supportive onboarding with proctored training by highly experienced IR physicians.
