AMBULATORY CARE REP – DENTAL REGISTRAR

The Department of Dental Medicine at Jamaica Hospital provides high-quality dental services for children, adolescents, adults, and special needs patients.  Our state-of-the-art dental center is staffed by a professional team consisting of attendings, hygienists, residents, and support staff.  We are proud of our uncompromising commitment and approach to providing the highest professional, compassionate dental care to the many culturally diverse, undeserved patients we serve. We are currently seeking an experienced Dental Registrar (ACR) for an immediate full-time opportunity in our Richmond Hill Clinic.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• As a Dental Registrar/Ambulatory Care Representative you’ll be the first point of contact for patients seeking
•  care in our facility.

Specific duties will include:

• Expediting patient registration check-in and check-out process
• Greeting and screening patients.
• Utilizing EPIC electronic appointment system to schedule and review appointments, insurance and appointment history.
• Collecting payments and dispersing carfare and serves as the clinic liaison.
• Answering phones and addressing patient/caller inquiries
