Jamaica Hospital Medical Center located in Queens, NY seeks  Transport Service Associates for immediate full-time employment opportunities in our Central Transport Service Department

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

• Utilizing wheelchairs and moveable beds to transport patients to and  from hospital rooms,  treatment areas, and operating rooms;
• Lifting patients on and off beds.
• Comforting patients and their families by offering support and encouragement.
• Transporting and delivering hospital equipment supplies and laboratory specimens to assigned areas.
• Transporting deceased patients by following protocols and delivering them to the mortuary.
